Biography (500 words): Hello. My name is Eric Shiloh and filling out this application feels like the greatest thing i have ever done with my life. Why do i want to become a State Trooper? Well because all my life i was inspired by all police officers a like in grade school i would always stay after school for this program that gave you a first hand experience about what being a police officer is really about. My father and mother always encouraged me to keep pushing towards being a police man because that's what they thought was my life calling. I was born in Berlin,Germany but after my parents fought, and fought, and fought, and my mother had enough so she moved to the United States with nothing but a baby, and my uncle. My uncle had a child who moved to the United States for his schooling so my uncle was going to the united states to finally see him so he brought me and my mother along. My uncle spoke little English and my mother knew nothing of the language. In the United States My mother was happy my uncle was happy and i was... happy every time i got to eat. We were poor we had nothing but a little trailer of a house that my uncle could come to scrape up with, with his low income job. Then at the age of 8, i was asked "What do you want to be when you grow up?" she said, "how about a police man?" then i asked her, "what did they do?", my life changed from that day ever since then i knew what my life had in store every thing i thought about was about how cool being a police officer was. In grade school there was this program that showed you every thing about being a police officer and i loved it. At the age of 14 i went to my first shooting range that was undiscribible to me it blew me away literally. My hometown knows me as the future cadet and all the police officers treat me to one of there experiences and tell me stories about what cool things have happened to them, and the worst things that happened to them. then when i was about 15 i relied that being a cop isn't all fun and games its about helping people and justice to the people. About a year ago i heard that my father died, that took a toll on me because even though i only saw him once a year he was still a big impact to my life he even learned how to speak English just for me. Then i learn that he was killed in a shooting and that there best investigator was on the case. The detective was really caring like it was his own family member. This is why i would like to become a sheriff.
