Do you have any experiences with police Work (if so what?) (100 words): My great-grandfather was a deputy in the F.B.I under J. Edgar Hoover who was the director of the F.B.I until his death 1972. One day i looked through my great-grandfathers stuff and found his documents and journal. His journal entries how he depicted the crime scenes he was investigating was gory and I couldn't read it. I never knew why he published he didn't publish it into a book. His journal taught me about the law and how the court system works. He was also undercover for a while investigating the Winter Hill Gang, a gang from Massachusetts that was infamous for narcotics trade and murder. His lessons taught me about the law and inspired me.
Tell us A Little about your self And Why you would like to join RCSD(500 words): I was born in the U.S capital, Washington D.C, it also has one of the highest crime rates in the U.S. My father founded a retail store and made a living. I never knew my mother, my father told me she left the family after a few weeks after i was born. Although i never knew i still have pictures of her that my father gave me. When i was about three according to my father we witnessed a guy being mugged and I didn't know what was going on since i was young. My father told me to run and and him. I didn't go to preschool, i only went to kindergarten in my younger years. I hated my kindergarten teacher. She always yelled at me for taking out my snack to early. She was always the equivalent of the devil. I witnessed bullying in elementary school. I wanted to put a end to it but it was risking to get hurt. I was doing better in my elementary years in school I had become more intelligent through private tutoring. I improved on my arithmetic skills by a lot and I eventually got a masters degree in mathematics in college. I also improved on my history skill and had my own opinions on history like the J.F.K assassination and I love history to this day especially military history. My I.Q is above average and my education was good enough that i made it through my school years. The thing that got me into history was mainly JROTC(Junior Reserves Officer Training Corps). JROTC helped me with college and learned respect, leadership, and responsibility. My main inspirations from history is probably General George S. Patton. He boosted the morale of his men in WWII and had a huge legacy. He was devoted to his unit just as I want to be in the police force. In my college years i wanted to attend a ROTC scholarship in army, for Norwich University, but my grades weren't high enough to apply my senior year in high school. When i was in my freshmen year in George Washington university, i heard the news that my father was murdered when i was away. His store was robbed and he was shot by the robber. I was traumatized by the loss, but my uncle helped pay for my college funds. They later identified the suspect who shot him and was given a life sentence. He had a criminal record so they could identify him and the security camera could. I was traumatized by the loss since how close i was to my father. We had a good relationship and his loss just came in a blink of an eye. This is why i want to join due to violence and put a stop to gang violence like my late father. My duty as a officer is to protect innocents and put a end to gang violence and also to avenge my father for justice.
